What's Up?

Hello All! Today I'm joining in the fun over at the Avery Elle Challenge Blog! Their challenge this time around is Clean & Simple! I wanted to use one of my Avery Elle stamps, of which I have quite a few as they are one of my favorite stamp companies, so I pulled them all out and decided on the What's Up? Stamp set. From there I knew exactly what I wanted to do...
I cut a 12x12 piece of light blue card stock to 4x12.
Then scored it at 4" and again at 8" to make a tri-fold card.
I stamped Mr. Giraffe with StazOn black ink and then stamped just his neck multiple other times. I used markers to color him.
Then the fussy cutting began! I'll be honest I didn't fully follow the lines when it came to the little hairs on his neck. After I cut out my pieces I went over the edges and hair with a black marker to make them all look more finished.
I then used the cloud stamps from the same set and stamped multiples of these as well.
I adhered the neck all the way up the card, using the little clouds to cover any obvious 'neck lines' I used foam adhesive to pop up his head to give him a more interesting look. Then finished off the card with the tiny "What's Up?" sentiment and by rounding the top and bottom corners.
When folded down the card's size is 4x4 so it is still able to be sent through the mail! Hope you enjoyed! Be on the look out for my first giveaway coming soon! If you want to be aware of it...follow me!
